What is Iris and Oak Events?

Iris and Oak Events is an event planning company located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Focusing on weddings and other wedding related events, Iris and Oak Events focuses to keep what matters most in the center of the planning process, the relationship. Believing in authentic and genuine connections with clients, we can plan, design, and execute a variety of styles.

Why the name Iris and Oak?

So why the name Iris and Oak? Growing up, my mother’s favorite flower was the Iris. Upon entering college I soon gained a love for the Iris flower as well because it is the flower of my national sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma. Oak trees have always been a consistent image in my life. Growing up in south Louisiana oak trees were always around to provide shade and support. At both my high school (ESA) and college (LSU #geauxtigers),

I spent many days studying and building friendships beneath the oaks. The roots of an oak spread wide and act as a support system for the massive tree. This is what I strive to provide for my clients, a well rooted support system that can be the strong foundation that you need when planning a wedding.

I believe in getting to know my couples and their families. And it is my job to help you host the most important day of your life and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of it! Having someone to guide you throughout the planning process and be that stable figure the day of the wedding will make all the difference.
